Description

A refreshing and naturally sweet frozen dessert made from fresh watermelon, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed watermelon on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.

  3. Add the frozen watermelon, cooled sugar syrup, and lime juice to a blender or food processor.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan or airtight container and freeze for 2-3 hours until firm.
  6. Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of your watermelon.
  • Add fresh mint or basil for a twist.
  • Use a high-speed blender for best texture.
