Description

A refreshing summer cocktail made with juicy watermelon, tequila, and lime juice, perfect for hot days and outdoor gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice, as needed
  • Lime wedges and salt for rimming (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp, if desired.
  3. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup to the pitcher and stir to combine.
  4. Rim glasses with lime wedge and dip in salt, if desired.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves or lime wedges if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup based on your watermelon’s natural sweetness.
  • Use frozen watermelon cubes to chill the drink without diluting it.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and kept chilled for a few hours before serving.
