- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs

- Divide batter evenly into three bowls. Leave one plain, add red food coloring to one, and blue food coloring to the other.
- Spoon the three batters into the prepared pan in layers or dollops, then use a knife to gently swirl for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors.
- This cake can be topped with powdered sugar or a light glaze for extra sweetness.
- Ensure not to overmix the batter when swirling to maintain a marbled effect.
