A festive and fun dessert dip made with cake batter that’s perfect for patriotic holidays. Creamy, sweet, and colorful with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk (optional, for thinning)
- 1/2 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
- Fresh fruit, graham crackers, or cookies for dipping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, whipped topping, and vanilla yogurt.
- Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Add milk a tablespoon at a time if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Fold in the red, white, and blue sprinkles, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with remaining sprinkles.
- Serve immediately with fruit, cookies, or graham crackers, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use heat-treated cake mix to ensure it’s safe to eat raw.
- Try using Greek yogurt for extra protein and thickness.
