Description

A festive and fun dessert dip made with cake batter that’s perfect for patriotic holidays. Creamy, sweet, and colorful with red, white, and blue sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
  • 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for thinning)
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
  • Fresh fruit, graham crackers, or cookies for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, whipped topping, and vanilla yogurt.
  2. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Add milk a tablespoon at a time if a thinner consistency is desired.
  3. Fold in the red, white, and blue sprinkles, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with remaining sprinkles.
  5. Serve immediately with fruit, cookies, or graham crackers, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use heat-treated cake mix to ensure it’s safe to eat raw.
  • Try using Greek yogurt for extra protein and thickness.
  • This dip can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
