Description

Red, White and Blue Dirt Cups are festive, layered dessert cups made with colorful layers of crushed cookies, creamy pudding, and vibrant berries, perfect for patriotic celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, divided (some crushed)
  • 1 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Red and blue food coloring (optional)
  • Clear plastic cups or jars for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
  3. Divide the pudding into three bowls. Leave one bowl white, tint one with red food coloring, and one with blue (optional).
  4. Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand in a plastic bag.
  5. In each serving cup, layer crushed Oreos on the bottom, followed by a layer of red pudding, then some strawberries.
  6. Add another layer of crushed Oreos, followed by white pudding, and some blueberries.
  7. Top with more crushed Oreos, a layer of blue pudding, and additional berries.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

  • You can use chocolate pudding for a different flavor twist.
