Description

Festive and easy-to-make cookies using cake mix, perfect for patriotic holidays with red, white, and blue sprinkles.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 box white cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until a dough forms.
  3. Gently fold in sprinkles and white chocolate chips.
  4. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overbake—cookies will continue to set as they cool.
  • You can substitute sprinkles with red, white, and blue M&Ms for variation.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
