- 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix blueberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Pour into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the blueberries.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- You can use frozen blueberries without thawing.
- Try adding a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor.
