Description

A simple and delicious blueberry crisp made with fresh or frozen blueberries, topped with a buttery oat crumble. Perfect for a quick dessert!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix blueberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Pour into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the blueberries.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
