- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Use natural peanut butter for a more intense peanut flavor.
- Do not overbake to keep the brownies fudgy.
- Add chocolate chips or chopped peanuts for extra texture.
