These Patriotic Oreo Cream Cheese Truffles are a festive no-bake treat, combining crushed Oreos with cream cheese and dipped in colorful candy melts for a red, white, and blue celebration dessert.
Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz white candy melts
- 4 oz red candy melts
- 4 oz blue candy melts
- Patriotic sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
- Add the softened cream cheese and pulse until well combined into a thick mixture.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for about 20-30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the white candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip each truffle into the white candy melts, coating fully, then place back on parchment paper.
- Melt the red and blue candy melts in separate bowls.
- Drizzle red and blue melts over the coated truffles for a festive look, or dip part of the truffles in different colors.
- Add patriotic sprinkles before the coating sets (optional).
- Refrigerate truffles until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use a toothpick or fork to dip truffles neatly into candy melts.
- Store truffles in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- You can use chocolate Oreos or Golden Oreos based on preference.
