Description

These Patriotic Oreo Cream Cheese Truffles are a festive no-bake treat, combining crushed Oreos with cream cheese and dipped in colorful candy melts for a red, white, and blue celebration dessert.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz white candy melts
  • 4 oz red candy melts
  • 4 oz blue candy melts
  • Patriotic sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese and pulse until well combined into a thick mixture.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 20-30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt the white candy melts according to package instructions.
  6. Dip each truffle into the white candy melts, coating fully, then place back on parchment paper.
  7. Melt the red and blue candy melts in separate bowls.
  8. Drizzle red and blue melts over the coated truffles for a festive look, or dip part of the truffles in different colors.
  9. Add patriotic sprinkles before the coating sets (optional).
  10. Refrigerate truffles until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use a toothpick or fork to dip truffles neatly into candy melts.
  • Store truffles in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • You can use chocolate Oreos or Golden Oreos based on preference.
