Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and cube the potatoes, then place them in a large pot of salted water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the butter and milk to the potatoes.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully incorporated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
