Description

This Marinated Salmon with Garlic and Herbs is a flavorful and healthy dish featuring salmon fillets infused with a rich blend of garlic, fresh herbs, and lemon. Perfect for a light dinner or a nutritious lunch.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, basil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Remove salmon from marinade and place on a baking sheet or grill.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs or lemon slices if desired.

  • You can substitute fresh herbs with dried herbs; use one-third the amount.
