Description

These patriotic red, white, and blue Jello Jigglers are a fun and festive treat perfect for summer celebrations like the 4th of July or Memorial Day. They’re easy to make, kid-friendly, and bursting with fruity flavor.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) red Jello (strawberry or cherry)
  • 1 box (3 oz) blue Jello (berry blue)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin, divided
  • 5 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve red Jello and 1/2 envelope unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir well and pour into the dish. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until set.
  3. In another bowl, dissolve the other 1/2 envelope of unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir in 3/4 cup boiling water and the sweetened condensed milk. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Pour the white layer over the set red layer. Refrigerate for another 30-45 minutes until firm.
  5. Dissolve the blue Jello and remaining envelope of unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir well, let cool slightly, then pour over the set white layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely firm.
  7. Cut into squares or use cookie cutters to make festive shapes. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Make sure each layer is fully set before adding the next to prevent colors from mixing.
  • Use a plastic knife or dip the pan briefly in warm water to help release the jigglers.
  • You can use sugar-free Jello for a lighter version.
