Description

Italian Pinwheels are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack, made with deli meats, cheese, and a flavorful spread, all rolled up in a tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 6 oz sliced salami
  • 6 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 6 oz sliced ham
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes until smooth.
  2. Lay out a tortilla and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly across it.
  3. Layer slices of salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone cheese, and a few spinach leaves on top.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other.
  5. Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and fillings.
  7. Once chilled, remove from the fridge, unwrap, and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.
  8. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use a sharp knife to slice for clean cuts.
  • Can be made a day ahead for convenience.
