Description

A simple and delicious recipe for homemade chocolate bars using just a few basic ingredients. Perfect for a sweet treat or gifting.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, dried fruits, sea salt


Instructions

  1. Line a small baking pan or silicone mold with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder and salt.
  3. Add the melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared mold or pan.
  5. Sprinkle optional toppings over the chocolate, if using.
  6. Place in the freezer for about 1 hour or until firm.
  7. Once set, break or cut into bars and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use silicone molds for easy removal of chocolate bars.
