- 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
- Place knots on the prepared baking sheet, cover with a towel, and let rise for 15-20 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Remove the knots from the oven and brush immediately with the garlic butter mixture.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using. Serve warm.

- Knots can be frozen and reheated.
