Description

Soft, fluffy garlic knots brushed with a savory garlic-butter glaze, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
  3. Place knots on the prepared baking sheet, cover with a towel, and let rise for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in salt, pepper, and parsley.
  6. Remove the knots from the oven and brush immediately with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh dough for best results.
  • Adjust garlic amount to taste.
  • Knots can be frozen and reheated.
