Fresh Strawberry Yum Yum is a classic Southern no-bake dessert layered with a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy filling, and sweet strawberries for a light and refreshing treat.

- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Fold in whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Layer with sliced strawberries evenly on top of the filling.
- Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
- If using, warm the strawberry jam slightly and drizzle over the top for added flavor and shine.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh strawberries with frozen, but thaw and drain them well.
- For extra crunch, add chopped pecans to the crust.
- Make ahead a day early for better flavor melding.
