- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Chocolate shavings or curls for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Blend in the cooled, melted chocolate and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating for 3-5 minutes after each addition to ensure a silky texture.
- Spread the chocolate filling into the pre-baked pie crust and smooth the top.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the chocolate filling.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or curls, if desired.
- Chill the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

- Use pasteurized eggs for food safety since this is a no-bake filling.
- Ensure chocolate is fully cooled before mixing to prevent curdling.
