This easy chicken noodle casserole is the perfect comfort food, loaded with tender chicken, hearty noodles, and a creamy sauce, all baked to golden perfection.

- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, cheese, peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a time-saving shortcut.
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup if preferred.
- Add extra vegetables like corn or green beans for variety.
