Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 slices of brioche or challah bread
- 1 tbsp butter
- 8 strips of bacon
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup hash browns
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake the bread slices for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
- In the same skillet, cook the hash browns until golden and crispy. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese to melt.
- Warm the maple syrup in a small saucepan or microwave.
- Serve the baked French toast with fresh strawberries and warm syrup on top, alongside cheesy hash browns and crispy bacon.
