Description

A flavorful and versatile chicken thigh marinade that makes the meat tender, juicy, and packed with bold, savory flavors—perfect for grilling, baking, or pan-searing.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2–8 hours for deeper flavor.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
  5. Grill, bake, or pan-sear chicken thighs until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate overnight.
  • You can use bone-in chicken thighs, but adjust cooking time accordingly.
  • Reserve some marinade before adding chicken if you want to use it as a sauce later (boil before serving).
