Description

A creamy, zesty chicken spaghetti dish elevated with rich burrata cheese and a vibrant lemon butter garlic sauce, perfect for a comforting yet sophisticated meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ball (4 oz) burrata cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add lemon zest and juice, then pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss in the drained spaghetti. Mix well to coat with the sauce.
  7. Transfer to serving plates and top each portion with burrata cheese and fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately while the burrata is creamy and the pasta is hot.

Notes

  • You can use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
  • Substitute spaghetti with gluten-free pasta if desired.
