Description
Chicken Alfredo Bake is a creamy, cheesy pasta dish made with tender chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and melted cheese, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 3 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in Alfredo sauce and cook until heated through.
- Combine the sauce with the cooked pasta in a large bowl. Mix in half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies.
- Use homemade or store-bought Alfredo sauce.
