			For the Steaks
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
 - 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Apricot Orange Glaze
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
 - 2 tablespoons orange juice
 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
- Prepare the Steaks: Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides evenly with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes to allow the seasonings to penetrate and for even cooking.
 - Make the Glaze: While the steaks are resting, combine apricot preserves, orange juice, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk continuously and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
 - Heat Grill or Skillet: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot and ready for cooking the steaks.
 - Cook the Steaks: Place the seasoned steaks on the grill or skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness. Adjust time according to your preferred level of doneness.
 - Glaze the Steaks: In the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, generously brush the apricot orange glaze over the steaks on both sides to create a flavorful coating.
 - Rest and Serve: Remove the steaks from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute. Slice the steaks if desired, and serve with extra glaze drizzled on top.

Notes
- You can prepare the apricot orange glaze ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to one week.
 - This recipe pairs excellently with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, or steamed rice for a complete meal.
 - Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to control the level of spiciness according to your preference.
