Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 410 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 12 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, and cayenne (if using); cook another 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce; stir to combine.
  5. Simmer 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
  7. Serve warm or refrigerate; gently reheat before using.

Notes

  • Adjust garlic and cayenne to taste.
  • Store in airtight container refrigerated for up to 3–14 days (depending on garlic and citrus added).
  • Freeze in ice cube trays for easy portioning—lasts 2–3 months.
  • Use high‑quality European‑style unsalted butter for richer flavor.
