Description

This Boursin Cheese Pasta with Broccoli is a creamy, comforting dish made with tender pasta, fresh broccoli florets, and rich, herby Boursin cheese. It’s a quick and easy dinner that’s packed with flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5.2 oz Boursin garlic and herb cheese
  • 1/2 cup pasta cooking water
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions, adding broccoli florets to the pot during the last 3-4 minutes of cooking.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water, then drain pasta and broccoli.
  3. In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in Boursin cheese, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli back to the pot. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat pasta for added fiber.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
  • Sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or basil for extra freshness.
