Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish featuring succulent blackened shrimp served over a rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp blackened seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the shrimp with blackened seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until opaque and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Top the pasta with blackened shrimp and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust blackened seasoning to your preferred spice level.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
